Now that we're in the homestretch for the interactive spy novel There's Always a Madman: Do Your Worst (Steam page here) releasing November 8, 2024, here is a character profile for a key character in the game, the henchwoman Agatha.

Name: Agatha

Summary: Agatha is a petite woman with a big role in The Silver Fox's organization.  She loyally serves him as the team's resident tech expert, as well as The Silver Fox's most trusted advisor.  When you need to pass yourself off as someone else to get close to The Silver Fox, it will be Agatha performing the security checks, so do not underestimate her.

Expertise: Whereas Sterling is merely there for brawn, Agatha is the second in command.  All of The Silver Fox's security measures are designed and run by Agatha, so if any of the trio are going to sniff out your cover identity, she is the one to be most worried about.  In simple terms, you can think of Agatha as The Silver Fox's counterpart to our own gadgeteer Hatcher - that should give you an idea how proficient she is when it comes to technology.

Shortcomings: Although Agatha is well suited to spot unwelcome guests, don't expect her to personally do much with that information.  When the job calls for someone to get their hands dirty, that falls to her boyfriend Sterling.  Her reliance on the muscular bodyguard leaves her vulnerable, so use that to your advantage if you can.

Final verdict: Your usual technique of seducing the target and getting them to flip likely isn't going to work on this mission.  Agatha and Sterling are a devoted couple - devoted to each other and to The Silver Fox's scheme - so driving a wedge between them won't be easy.  Instead, focus on them as individuals and take them on one at a time using their own weaknesses against them if you can.
